Breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay …Homer lodging located on the water’s edge. Enjoy the fire pit and a quiet walk on the beach.
“Great place to call home while visiting Homer”
We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Homer. The location was great because your close to the spit and close enough to downtown and Old town Homer. We enjoyed the hospitality of fresh baked goodies that are left for you to enjoy in the morning. We were able to walk the beach at night and we have fantastic photos of the sunsets. This was my first experience with a B&B and it was wonderful. I highly recommend staying here over a hotel. It was a true feeling of home while your on the road.
“Alaska Beach House…AWESOME”
My friends and I have stayed at The Alaska Beach house every visit to Homer. Quite honestly it makes our trip!
Great views overlooking the bay oceanfront , clean marine decor accomodations, and Sue and her family are AWESOME hosts, who go out of their way to insure your stay is the best it can be. To put it bluntly, if you don’t like Sue… You don’t like people.
Thankful I found this little piece of heaven in Alaska, look forward to many more returns
We visited from Australia three nights in the compass rose quarters from 15 July which was probably the best accommodation we had in our two weeks in Alaska. The room is quite spacious and decorated in a nautical theme which adds a nice touch. The room sits above a small cliff with a stairway down to the beach. The room seems to sit right above the water and the view over the bay is spectacular. There are always birds otters or something passing by. A light breakfast is left by Sue each day for the following morning. Doug called down the resident bald eagle so that I could take some good photographs which I appreciated and enjoyed. Doug and Sue were very welcoming and helpful. The property is for sale so hopefully the new owners will treat their guests as well. If I ever come back to Alaska I will definitely stay here.
